Surry Cottage is located 6 miles east of downtown Truckee.
It is convienient to all locations but with less traffic and easy to get into in the winter.

It is decorated in a cozy Country fashion. Antiques throughout the house.

The 2 story house sleeps up to 8 in the 3 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms.
Master has a King Bed
2nd room King Bed
These bedrooms have a private deck off of them.
3 bedroom 1 Queen, 1 Full.

Linens, towels, and kitchen amenities provided.

Also a washer and dryer soap and dryer softners provided.

There is a Country Store at the bottom of the hill as well as a place to rent DVDs Videos. We do have a stock of DVD's for your use.

The upstairs has a full kitchen.

The living room has leather funiture not to mention a complete Sound system, DVD, VCR, etc.
It also has a wood burner with wood supplied and a deck off that area.

A Webber BBQ. great winter or anytime of the year.
Wood for fire on grounds.
If You need Help to get a Fire going Let us Know.
We are here to help and keep things running smoothly for your visit.

Surry Cottage is close to all the North Shore Ski Resorts. A 10 to 15 minute drive to Northstar 20 to Squaw Valley, Alpine and Sugar Bowl.

You also have the use of the Glenshire Club House while at the Cottage.

The area is surrounded by many wilderness trails which are great for hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding. The Truckee River is less then 1/4 mile away. The fishing is also very good.

It is a great family retreat.

Close to the Truckee River and hiking trails there as well.

  • Your first night rental is the security deposit required to reserve dates.
  • CHECK IN IS 4:00 P.M. Check out by 11:00 A.M.
  • Cleaning fee $125.00. More then 4 people extra charge. Fee goes to an independent service.
  • All fees Paid Prior to first day of vacation. Paypal or check /credit card
  • 10% Occupancy Tax Required by Nevada County
  • Full refund of deposit if cancellation 14 days prior.
  • 50% refund of deposit if cancellation 7 days prior except holidays
  • No refund if cancellation less then 7 days prior to first day of reservation.
  • Renters responsible for any damage to Surry Cottage.
  • A cleaning fee Will be Charged
